The Durham Regional Financial Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help cultivate social impact through financial resilience and financial security for individuals, families, and communities. Celebrating 28 years, since 1990 we have fulfilled our mission by helping individuals, families, and communities manage their money and credit more effectively through our Financial Education and Counseling Programs. In 1994, we added Homeownership Education and Counseling to our menu of program services.
DRFC is a HUD-approved certified counseling agency and member of the National Community Reinvestment Corporation. We have consistently achieved an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Our service area includes the City of Durham, Durham County; and Alamance, Person, Orange, Granville, Franklin, Vance, and Wake Counties.
So what is Unique about Durham Regional Finance Center (DRFC)? DRFC’s Education and Counseling Programs offer one-on-one financial education and counseling, consumer credit counseling, and home-ownership education and counseling sessions with professional, certified counselors.
